My top recommendations for things to do in my town

Hello Friends all, how are you? I hope you're okay.
Met again in my blog I would like to thank the friends who have read my post from the beginning until today. the discussion this time I will discuss what recommendations can I do for my city.

 For more information about my town, I would introduce myself to you. My name is fernando sihombing Riau, I come from the city of Pekanbaru in Riau province. I still need the attention of the city government, including the central government. we often heard the city of Pekanbaru in Riau precisely the last 5 years is often in the news tv both print and online media nationally and internationally. the news is not about achievement Pekanbaru city itself but about forest fires causing the smoke was very thick and up to kenegara neighboring Malaysia and Singapore. land fires because the government itself is fast enough to handle the fire. the government is often slow to act, "a fire has occurred and then the government act".

 My recommendation for things to do in town I was to instill an early age to the surrounding community not to burn their land to be used as a plant that produces such as oil palm, rubber and others but its wood is processed for resale in order not wasted sia- it just burned by fire. and also make laws about burning the land to be in tightened, so that people do not dare to burn the land them. if the government has been good and its laws already exist, the community will contribute to the government. I believe with words like "if it is good, then underneath is also good, if the government is good then its too good society.

Last meal on Earth

Hi friends, how are you today? I wish all of my friends are fine. This time I will discuss about my last meal on earth.

Indonesia was rich in culture as well as its food. each region has its own specialties one typical food is pureed spicy Pontianak city, lempok durian and others. I personally wanted to eat all the foods typical of the region is in Indonesia this. but if I choose foods that will be my last meal on earth is papeda.

Maybe friends already know papeda food. papeda is typical food of Papua, which he says can be addictive if that had often eaten papeda. papeda itself is sago porridge cooked with seasoning sauce, yellow. Papeda has a unique flavor. Those who are not familiar, Papeda will feel flagstones and textured like glue. Not to mention if the smell still wafted sagunya.

 Papua that has been known of his nature is so beautiful and the people of Papua is unique-unique to the life of its very culture all with seemingly their clothes were made of Papua as a vacation getaway very cool while savoring their distinctive "papeda" at my last meal on this earth

A letter to your younger self and your 10-years later self

           

              Hello, how are you doing to me? I hope you are in good condition. Today I will write to you. I was you in 23 years. You are currently still so selfish, you just do not care and still can not be silent when at home and in social media. Today really is still full of life who want to know everything and sometimes seem excessive. Nowadays you seem to still enjoy your youth with friends laughing and having fun. A moment later stopped laughing and you're back to remind you in your past. You are very beautiful childhood because children play with other small. Unfortunately you play too many days of school so you just ride first class just because of lazy learning. You are spending more time outside playing with friends of your childhood so there was always being scolded by mom because too much play, does not spend much time at home (learning). You seem happy at the time, and now you are in college and semester 9 and is not yet finished-finished college felt the impact of the most played in as a child, rarely studied so now you wished he had too much play.

              I saw you fight your lectures finish, finish what you started, sometimes envy my friends who already finished college and is already working. But you've come a long way and you realize that you become more powerful, strong, more intelligent and better than ever.

Then I'll see yourself in ten years to come. You can find ways to be more patient, independent, and unyielding. You can also manage your emotions well. You seem to be very happy because you can help parents by going to their business and help your brothers. You've found it very useful. I see you laughing, surrounded by people that you care about the others, with the success you have at your age adults, you are very happy. Your familiarity with your brothers, your relatives, your parents, and friends are the source of grace and happiness in your life. And for those of you who are now survivors struggling in the lecture, I hope you have a graduation in 2017. amin :)

Rizky : Information on the web is searchable but not organized and Most information on the web does not go through a review process. Library resources go through a review process and organized.

Karaoke song of choice

Hi friends, how are you today? I hope all my friends are fine. This time I will discuss about the songs of my choice.
I honestly do not like to sing because I lacked confidence and also because my voice is not good. but still there is a song of my choice, I like the songs of Iwan Fals and of all the songs Iwan Fals my song choice was "bento". Bento song is simple but has a very deep meaning, tells the story of a businessman who is arrogant, rich and cruel, got home real estate. The lyrics of the song bento:

when I sang my bento as a wealthy businessman but that does not mean I was so arrogant and nasty, I just go into character bento while singing so when he's singing like screams and pounding while singing. Favorite place you've visited

Hello ladies and gentlemen... How are you? I hope the news friends are all fine. We meet again on my blog, this time we will discuss the favorite places visited. I've visited quite a lot of the sights in West Kalimantan is like a Lumukutan Island and the Kabung Island in the district Bengkayang, Mount Poteng in Singkawang, hill fungi present in Bengkayang, Sawi Island in Kendawangan Ketapang, Pak Kasih bridge in Tayan, Pasir Panjang beach in Singkawang also Temajok in Paloh Sambas, borders Malaysia and Indonesia. Of the many places that I visited I was most pleased to Kabung Island.

I have 5 times to the island of kabung and never get bored, because the place is beautiful, the sea water its crystal clear and the color of the sea water its blue, coral reefs are maintained and her many fish, for the hobby fishing kabung island suitable for fishing. Ohhh yeahh there is one more thing why kabung island so my favorite destination because people who live on the island of kabung was very friendly at the visitors, they are always welcome to tourists who come to the island.

I hope the news friends are all fine. we meet again on my blog, this time we will discuss the topic "Smartphone Apps that you love". Okay I will share about smartphone apps that I love. there are many applications that I use on my smartphone, such as: instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, line, blackberry messenger, skype, gaming applications also exist, there is also a photograph editing application: D hehe... and there are many other applications. 

I love best of the many applications that I use on my smartphone is "instagram". 

yeahhh my instagram app open every day, from morning, noon, afternoon to evening I am always open hehee.... Instagram app is like its other social media applications, sharing the moment, it's just his instagram share moments through the photograph / video that we share and instagram is also very popular, and many people who use this application so we can see what people share.

Movie best describes my life

Hello ladies and gentlemen. How are you ?we meet again on my blog. topic this time we will  discuss about the movie that I like and describe myself.

                                    

I liked the movie is the movie The Fast and the Furious. yeaaahhhh I really like this movie because the plot is very stressful and this movie also taught not to judge a person by its cover alone. The Fast and the Furious is an American film that released in 2001. The film, directed by Rob Cohen, starring Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster. until now the fast and the furious continued until the 8th series and films have always been a box office everywhere. This movie teaches about friendship so tightly just like the family itself and also about the race and the missions they perform. The first in the series until the series to seven always presenting a thrilling races and also presenting their compactness in every whatever they are doing. Characters that describe a little bit about me in this film is probably the main players, namely Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto role. Heheh

Yapppp I really like vin diesel, any filmed his starring certainly always good and the film is also very nice. My similarity with him that is equally loving family and is also willing to sacrifice for his friend and also I like to race anyway. Subject Verb Agreement

Subject is the person/ people/ thing(s) that do activity.

Verb ia word used to describe an action, state, or occurence, and forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence. Kinds of verb is action verbs, linking verbs, helping verbs.

Action Verb :
a. Also known as MAIN VERB
b. action verbs are words that express action ( give, eat, walk, etc.)
c. action verbs can be either transitive ( with object ) or intransitive ( without object ).

Linking Verbs : A linking verb connect the subject of a sentence to a noun or adjective that renames or describes the subject.

Helping Verbs : Helping verbs are used before action or lingking verbs to convey additional information regarding aspects of possibility ( can, could, etc. ) or time ( was, did, has, ect.)

Modals always function as helping verbs. MODALS: can, could, may, might, shall, will, ought to, should, would.

Main rule of “ Subject Verb Agreement” : Only the subject affects the verb! 

1.    Rule 1

Subjects and verbs must agree in number. This is the cornerstone rule that forms the backround of the concept.

Example:

The dog growls when it is angry.

The dogs growl when they are angry.

2. Rule 2 

Don’t get confused by the words that come between the subject and verb; they do not affect agreement.

Exampels:

The dog, who is chewing on my jeans, is usually very good.

3. Rule 3

Prepotional phrases between the subject and verb usually do not affect agreement.

Examples:

The colors of the rainbow are beautiful

4.  Rule 4

When sentences start with “there” or “here”, the subject will always be placed after the verb, so care needs to be taken to identivy it correctly.

Exampels:

There  is a problem with the balance sheet. Here are the papers you requested.

5. Rule 5

If two subject are joined by and, they, typically require a plural verb form.

Examples:

The cow and the pig are jumping over the moon.

6.  Rule 6 

The verb is singular if the two sbjects separated by and refer to the same person or thing.

Examples:

Red beans and rice is my mam’s favorite dish

7.  Rule 7 

If one of the words each, every, or no comes before the subjects, the verb is singular.

Examples:

No smoking or drinking is allowed.

Every man and woman is required to check in.

8.  Rule 8 

If the subjects are both singular and are connected by the words or, nor, neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also, the verb is singular.

Examples:

Jessica or christian is to blame for accident.

9.  Rule 9

The only time when the object of the preposition decides plural or singular verb forms is when noun and pronoun subjects like some, half, none, more, all, ect. Are followed by a prepositional phrase. In these sentences, the object of the preposition determines the form of the verb.

Examples:

All of the chicken is gone.

All of the chickens are gone.

10. Rule 10

The singular verb form is usually used for units of measurement or time.

Examples:

Four quarts of oil was required to get the car running.

11.  Rule 11

If the subjects are both plural and are connected by the words or, nor, neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also, the verb is plural.

Examples:

Dogs and cats are both available at the pound.

12. Rule 12

If one subjects is singular and plural and the words are connected by the words or, nor, neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also, you use the verb form of the subject that is nearest the verb.

Examples:

1. Either the bears or the lion has escaped from the zoo.

2. Neither the lion nor the bears have escaped from the zoo.

Rule 13Indefinite pronouns ( everything, anything, everyone, someone, somebody, nothing, ect. ) typically take singular verbs.

Examples: 

Everybody wants to be loved. 

Everything is gonna be alright.

14. Rule 14

Except for the pronouns ( few, many, several, both, all, some) that always take the plural form.

Examples: 

Few were left alive after the flood. 

Several students understand the material.

15. Rule 15

If two infinitives are separated by and they take the plural form the verb. 

Examples: 

To walk and to chew gum require great skill.

16. Rule 16

When gerunds are used as the subject of a sentence, they take the singular verb form of the verb; but, when they are linked by and, they take the plural form. 

Examples: 

1. Standing in the water was a bad idea. 

2. Swimming in the ocean and playing drums are my hobbies.

17. Rule 17

Collective nouns like family, committee, herd, senate, class, crowd, ect. Usually take a singular verb form.

Examples: 

1. The herd is stampeding 

2. Cooper family always attends the annual party

18. Rule 18

Titles of books, movies, novels, ect. Are treated as singular and take a singular verb.

Examples: 

1. The Burbs is a movies starring Tom Hanks. 

2. Harry Potter has reached Top 3 Best Seller books.

that is learned in lecture this week  This week I learned about tenses. In language, tenses mean time. So, tenses is a form of the verb that indicates the occurrence of an activity / activities undertaken by people, objects, or other objects. As we all know tenses will always exist in every sentence in English. However, these tenses will change according to the time and also the nature of the event. Based on the time of the incident, tenses in English can be divided into four main parts: 1. Present Tense: Current time / current 2. Past Tense: In the past / past 3. Future Tense: The time will come 4. Past Future Tense: The time it will happen in the past / past Meanwhile, judging by the time the nature of the case, then tenses as we know it can be divided into 4 sections as well, consisting of: 1. Simple: Activities that are not currently in the process 2. Continuous: Events still or are in the process 3. Perfect: Activities that has / have been completed 4. Perfect Continuous: Events already started and takes place at a particular time.


Lecture this week to learn six tenses, namely:
1. SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE The tenses are used to indicate something permanent, custom or essential truth that occurring in the present (PRESENT).
Formula : (+) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + Verb 1 Subject (S) (He, She, It) + Verb 1 (s / es) (-) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + do + not + Verb 1 Subject (S) (He, She, It) + Does not + Verb + 1 (?) Do + Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + Verb 1? Does + Subject (S) (He, She, It) + Verb 1?
Example: (+) He studies English everynight. (-) He does not study English everynight. (?) Does he study English everynight?  2. CONTINUOUS PRESENT TENSE The tenses are used to express an action that is actually being done at this time or ongoing.
Formula : (+) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + to be (am / acre) Verb + 1-ing Subject (S) (He, She, It) + to be (is) Verb + 1-ing (-) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + to be (am / are) not + Verb + 1-ing Subject (S) (He, She, It) + to be (is) not + Verb + 1-ing (?) To be (am / acre) + Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) Verb + 1-ing? To be (is) + Subject (S) (He, She, It) Verb + 1-ing?

3. PERFECT PRESENT TENSE

These tenses are used to tell a good experience that has happened or has happened.

Formula :

(+) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + have + Verb 3

      Subject (S) (He, She, It) + has + Verb 3

(-)  Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + have + not + Verb 3

      Subject (S) (He, She, It) + has + not + Verb 3

(?) Have + Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + Verb 3?

      Has + Subject (S) (He, She, It) + Verb 3?

Example:

(+) I have finished my homework

(-) I have not finished my homework

(?) Have I finished my homework?

4. PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE

Present Perfect Continuous Tense is used to indicate that something that started in the past and continue to do until now.

Formula :

(+) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + have + been + Verb-ing

      Subject (S) (He, She, It) + has + been + Verb-ing

(-)  Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + have + not + been + Verb-ing

      Subject (S) (He, She, It) + has + not + been + Verb-ing

(?) Have + Subject (s) (I, You, They, We) + been + Verb-ing?

      Has + Subject (S) (He, She, It) + been + Verb-ing?

Example:

(+) Sean have been sleeping for three hours

(-) Sean have not been sleeping for three hours

(?) Have Sean've been sleeping for three hours?

5. SIMPLE PAST TENSE

Simple Past is used for menyatan facts or events which occurred in the past. 

The past could mean 5 minutes ago, an hour ago, a day ago, and so on. 

The verb used is the second form of the verb, verbs can be regular or irregular verbs.

Formula :

(+) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We, He, She, It) + Verb 2

(-) Subject (s) (I, You, They, We, He, She, It) + did + not + Verb 1

(?) Did + Subject (s) (I, You, They, We, He, She, It) + Verb 1?

Example:

6. CONTINUOUS PAST TENSE

Past Continuous Tense is used to express when we are in the midst of events or 

do something at a certain moment in the past.

Formula :

(+) Subject (S) (You, They, We) + to be (were) Verb + 1-ing

      Subject (s) (I, He, She, It) + to be (was) Verb + 1-ing

(-)  Subject (S) (You, They, We) + to be (were) not + Verb + 1-ing

      Subject (s) (I, He, She, It) + to be (was) not + Verb + 1-ing

(?) To be (were) + Subject (S) (You, They, We) Verb + 1-ing?

      To be (was) + Subject (s) (I, He, She, It) Verb + 1-ing?

Example:

(+) Chef Billy was cooking a fried rice.

(-) Chef Billy was not cooking a fried rice.

(?) Was Billy Chef cooking a f ried rice?

two things have to bring everywhere

I always take every day is a watch and a mobile phone. h I always carried in order to see the time every day, because the college should not be late so I always look at my watch so I was not too late to come to campus. I really like wearing a watch as a timepiece as well as accessories on hand. And always I take every day that the second is a phone, I always take it as a means of communication (calling and messaging) and also to see social media and communicate with applications that exist today such as blackberry messenger, instagram, facebook, path, line, etc. , That's two things that I always carried everywhere. :)

I like this photo because the picture tells some happy moment for us all especially to me because this is the first time I was in kayong utara . This photo precisely in aek paoh , about 15 minutes from Sukadana .

I was really blown away by the beauty of aek paoh , which in addition to its clear water , its environment is still clean and neat.

some of the things that make me can not forget this moment because of the holidays to aek paoh coincide with the semester break and become a top holiday for routine lecture really tired .

holidays to aek paoh also supported by the community atmosphere that is friendly and very family so we are not hard to blend in to society . Thus my story about this picture .

Reason to choose a major in electrical engineering at the university Tanjongpura.

My name Riau fernando sihombing  , my ninth semester student majoring in electrical engineering at the university Tanjongpura .

I chose Tanjongpura study here because After I look on the internet universities in Kalimantan . Tanjongpura University is one of the best there dikalimantan . So I followed SNMPTN to be able to go to university Tanjongpura . And also i want to know the Dayak in West Kalimantan's.

I majored in electrical engineering due to:

1. I am of SMK N 2 Pekanbaru majoring in electrical engineering , so I want to continue studying at the department of electrical engineering because it wants to improve that knowledge already gained in school .

2. I chose a major in electrical engineering because of my desire Tanjongpura university lecture in Kalimantan and work in Kalimantan and also major in electrical engineering at the university has been accredited Tanjongpura B.

That's why I chose a major in electrical engineering at the university Tanjongpura.
